Chapter reading and analysis.  We will read chapter III and do an analysis. Students will complete a drawing that represents the chapter that they read (product).

We will attempt reading groups (2).  One will initiate Lemony Snicket.  Each student will be asked to take turns reading, the teacher/staff will also read to show a model.  Take turns, page by page.  Readers must read at least one page to get credit.


2. These students will, with staff, summarize the chapter and go into discussion about what happened.  The staff will record these answers on the summary guide.  Allow students to make inquiries.  IF finished early students will talk about an unfortunate event that happened in their life.  If they are finished then, they will also draw an image that represents that unfortunate event.

The other will initiate RAVE-O.   (Ms. Cole) will be teaching TA
