Block 2 The Writing Lab (Weekly Topic)

If you had to write a poem, what would it be about?
 Group#1
Project Freewrite...
a memory, happy, sad, glad, mad, anything...
 Follow the formula!

Slam Poetry or Spoken Word is typically a short and effective poem that has a high intensity of expression.

With enough passion and practice, becoming a slam poet is within your reach. Explore a distant memory on paper, then read it out loud. Edit. Try reading it out loud again, and add your finishing touches.

1.     Write it down
2.     Read Aloud
3.     Cut the Fat
4.     Read Aloud Again
5.     Add Flava
  Group#2
On Edmodo, Try the I AM poem...

 Copy and paste to Edmodo

If finished, create a art piece to compliment one of your two poems
