Every year, it was opened just for a few days around Halloween. Rachel and Maddie had been coming there every year since they were eleven years old, so they weren’t scared. But it would still be fun. As they pulled up to the house in Rachel’s old car, Maddie noticed that theirs was the only car in the parking lot.
